Larry has over 30 years of tax and business consulting experience and serves as the Managing Partner of HEIN & ASSOCIATES LLP. His specialized business and tax structuring knowledge and experience has enabled him to provide important business planning guidance to his clients. Larry has assisted both public and private companies in the areas of business formation, debt and equity offerings, compensation planning, mergers and acquisitions, business valuation, new business planning, and the sale of assets.

 

Larry helps clients realize their business objectives through the entire life cycle of their business, from initial public offerings (IPOs), through the sale of the company. As a member of the board of directors for five public companies, Larry has given key input regarding business strategy through out his diverse career.

 

Larry is currently a member of Independent Petroleum Association of Mountain States (IPAMS), the Colorado Oil and Gas Association (COGA), the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Denver Metro Executives.

 

Larry assumed the role of Managing Partner for HEIN & ASSOCIATES LLP in 2003. He had previously served as the firm’s Director of Tax Operations and continues as the Partner-in-Charge of the Denver office. Before joining HEIN & ASSOCIATES LLP, Larry was the Chief Financial Officer for a Denver-based exploration and drilling company. He began his career with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., later moving to Coopers & Lybrand.
