Our firm participates as an advisor in key organizations that put us in touch with regulators, and keep us on the cutting edge of important changes affecting public companies. As a member of the Professional Practice Executive Committee (PPEC) of the Center for Public Company Audit Firms, our representatives meet regularly with policy-makers in the PCAOB, the SEC, and the FASB. HEIN & ASSOCIATES LLP is also member of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council (FASAC), an organization that advises the FASB on issues related to projects on the Board’s agenda. These positions provide a forum for clients' questions and concerns.

For nearly 20 years prior to these affiliations, HEIN & ASSOCIATES LLP was a member of the Executive Committee of the AICPA’s SEC Practice Section, groups which preceded the formation of the PPEC. Our long- term commitment to these organizations reflects the significance of our role in serving public companies throughout the nation.
