About Billy Tilotta, CPA
Billy provides audit and consulting services to both public and private companies, specializing in due diligence services, consolidations, and private offerings, as well as mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive expertise in SEC services, including Section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404) and SFAS 123 (stock options). He focuses in the manufacturing and distribution, and energy industries.
Billy is a faculty instructor for the AICPA, teaching CPE courses on accounting topics to CPAs throughout the United States. He also counsels University of Houston accounting students, and regularly speaks on business topics to the University’s Accounting Honor Society. Before he joined Hein in 2002, Billy was an audit manager with Arthur Andersen. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Houston.
